SEWASP is recruiting volunteer instructors and community volunteers for the 2019-2020 ski and snowboard season. Dry-land clinics are held Thursday evenings in October/November. On-snow clinics are held in December. Lessons occur on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings, and begin the first or second Thursday after New Years. Please contact us if you are interested.

Note: original completed application must be submitted by mail or turned in at a training. Forms must be completed in blue or black ink.

RSVP for or ask questions about dry land and on snow trainings

Dry land sessions - The Quality Inn and Suites (2921 O'Leary Lane, East Troy, WI) - Note: the location is the same, but the hotel name has changed. Volunteers are encouraged to attend as many as possible.

  • Thursday, October 31, 2019 (6:30pm 9:00pm) - New and returning (new volunteers strongly encouraged to attend to receive the Volunteer Handbook and get an overview of the program)
  • Thursday, November 7, 2019 (6:30pm 9:00pm) - New and returning
  • Thursday, November 14, 2019 (6:30pm 9:00pm) - New and returning
  • Thursday, November 21, 2019 (6:30pm 9:00pm) - New and returning

On-snow training at Alpine Valley Resort (RSVP for on-snow training) - All Volunteers are welcome to join any or all!  Returning blue square volunteers are required to attend at least one of these sessions so they can be checked off prior to teaching.

  • Thursday, December 5, 2019 (6:30pm 10:00pm)  - New and returning
  • Saturday, December 7, 2019 (9:00am 4:00pm)  - New and returning
  • Saturday, December 14, 2019 (9:00am 4:00pm)  - New and returning

Please submit all applications and program dates you can volunteer to the Program Coordinator by November 18th, 2019.

Post-Season Banquet Celebration Thur. March 19, 2020

Pizza, bread sticks, salad, cake, and fun for participants, families, and volunteers.  6:30p-9:00p at Roma's Pizza in East Troy, WI. Please RSVP by Monday, March 11.
